{"item":{"status":"visible","url":"\/2012\/01\/18\/recipe-chicken-veggie-spagetti\/","trash":"","name":"recipe-chicken-veggie-spagetti","parent":"","title":"Recipe: Chicken and Vine Veggie Spagetti","date":"2012-01-18 11:09:08","filepath":"posts\/20001105_recipe-chicken-veggie-spagetti.xml.json","type":"post","content":"<img class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-1106\" style=\"margin-right: 10px; margin-bottom: 10px;\" title=\"cutlery\" src=\"http:\/\/www.8bitrobot.com\/media\/uploads\/2012\/01\/cutlery-th.png\" alt=\"cutlery\" width=\"28\" height=\"59\" \/>It was a capricious night where various items in our refrigerator were cooked together and eaten with zeal. \u00a0The following was delicious.\n<div style=\"clear:both;\"><\/div>\n<strong>What was in it:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n\t<li>1 Chicken Breast (chopped up to small pieces)<\/li>\n\t<li>Spaghetti<\/li>\n\t<li>Red bell pepper (chopped)<\/li>\n\t<li>Yellow\/Orange bell pepper (chopped)<\/li>\n\t<li>Tomato (smashed... just kidding... chopped)<\/li>\n\t<li>1\/2 Onion (chopped)<\/li>\n\t<li>1 cup of chopped eggplant<\/li>\n\t<li>1 bunch of spinach (chopped after quick boil)<\/li>\n\t<li>like a whole tablespoon of this sweet\u00a0preminced garlic (It's too sweet and doesn't taste like garlic... but worked well on this recipe).<\/li>\n\t<li>Some olive oil<\/li>\n\t<li>Herbs & Spices: dried basil, italian seasoning, salt, and a dash of even more garlic powder.<\/li>\n\t<li>3 cups of tomato\u00a0spaghetti\u00a0sauce (this came from Trader Joe's)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<strong>What to do:<\/strong>\n<ol>\n\t<li>Boil water for\u00a0spinach\u00a0and pasta<\/li>\n\t<li>Chop chicken, put some oil in a large pan, start cooking chicken with all those good herbs.<\/li>\n\t<li>Chop your veggies while the chicken cooks and start cooking pasta.<\/li>\n\t<li>Saute the onions, eggplant, peppers, and tomato after the chicken has been cooked. \u00a0Add more oil if you need to.<\/li>\n\t<li>Throw in the spinach after it finishes cooking (1 minute? or 2?). \u00a0Chop it so you can fit it in your maw.<\/li>\n\t<li>Dump in the\u00a0spaghetti\u00a0sauce then the strained pasta (now you see why you need a large frying pan???)<\/li>\n\t<li>After cooking everything to an\u00a0eatable\u00a0temperature, put it on a plate and fill your gob.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\nThis was\u00a0surprisingly\u00a0good. \u00a0Posting it so I don't forget to cook it again."}}
